About the Trance Research Foundation

The purpose of the Trance Research Foundation is to financially support scientific trance research projects. Trance, for us, includes all forms and practices of meditation, hypnosis, addiction and charismatic phenomena. In addition to supporting trance research the Foundation supports education through the Trance Institute (Institute), a wholly owned non-profit educational institution.

We are a membership organization open to the public, so, if you are interested supporting our activities, you may consider becoming a member. You can find membership information and an application on these pages, and you can join on-line.

The Foundation is actively looking for researchers and professionals to become active members and serve on the Board and as Advisors. We currently need an individual to serve as web designer. Apply first as a General Member.

Project and organizational support is actively solicited from other grant-making institutions. The Foundation also accepts gifts and bequests in order to further the purposes of the foundation.

Researchers with active and compatible projects are invited to submit their proposals to us for consideration.
