Trance Analysis

Trance Analysis is not psychotherapy nor is it psychoanalysis. Trance analysis is a technique of personal introspection and observation based on a new theoretical model for trance.

We are often in many kinds of trance. Some trances we create ourselves. Some trances have been created by other people. For example, we create a trance in ourselves by repeating thoughts in our head. Others create trance by repeating phrases to us or by triggering prior trances with specific ‘hot’ words. There are other more sophisticated means for creating a trance.

Most compulsive behaviors – such as compulsive shopping, eating, or relationship behaviors – are the result of trances out of control. Trance analysis can show you how to recognize, change, control and develop or design trances of your own choosing.

We show you how to recognize a trance whether the trance is at its inception or during it. We show you techniques you can use to terminate unwanted trances. In addition, we show you how to use already established trances in order to speed learning, get pain relief, enhance your subtle perceptions.

If you already meditate, we can show you which parts of your technique do what.

Some cults use trance in order to convince you to give up your own personal responsibility. When you do this, you become susceptible to manipulation and influence that effectively disables your own will. In such a condition, you can be made to do things you would not normally do – things that, in fact, would be against your normal moral judgment.

Many hypnotists will tell you – falsely – that you cannot be made to do anything you don’t agree with, that if a hypnotist gives you an immoral or illegal suggestion, that you will not do it and would immediately come out of the trance. That is simply not true. With hypnosis, you can be made – forced – to do anything, even kill others or commit suicide. Hypnotists tell you that you can’t do anything you don’t agree with because of the potential liability which they may face if you killed someone, for example, and said that the hypnotist made you do it.

Terrorists don’t fly into buildings unless they are in a trance. Cults don’t swallow poison as a group unless they are in a trance. Normal people don’t do such things, but a person in a trance can be forced to do such things.

Is it any wonder that your compulsions – such as shopping, eating or alcohol consumption -can’t be easily controlled? Who benefits from your compulsions? Advertisers and manufacturers! And they deny that they use any compulsive hypnotic suggestions.

Trance analysis exposes these trances and shows you how to terminate them, and how to defend yourself against future trance abuse.

Many of these trance techniques are based on your own personal history and needs, and they are personally designed to free your potential and to increase your personal power. With the proper use of trance you can get more of what you want out of life, relationships and personal awareness.

Are you in a love trance? Are you in love with someone, break up and get back together repeatedly? Does your ‘No’ seem not to have any effect? Are you in denial? These indications suggest that a trance is present which is out of control and also out of consciousness. Trance analysis identifies the trance-inducing trance mechanisms in the love relationship. Trance analysis shows you how to break the trance. Breaking the trance may lead to a more robust, healthier relationship or it may lead to the termination of the relationship.

Are you in a work trance? Would you rather go to work than be with your friends or family? Do you like to spend long hours in front of a computer? Is your relationship with things more important than your relationship with people? Do you tend to think literally? You are likely to be in a work trance. While you can be a very effective worker – highly valued for what you do and know – you are also in a trance which disables vital areas of life. A trance analysis is essential for gaining control over these trances.

Why? Because love trances and work trances are trance forms of addictions, and these addictions nearly always result in drug switching. The other drugs? Alcohol is one. Religion is another. Smoking is another. Over-eating is another.

We at the Trance Research Foundation understand the mechanisms of trance. We can help you understand trance too and learn how to terminate and control trance addictions. In doing so your life grows more robust and free.
