About the Trance Research Foundation
The Trance Research Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational and research membership organization and is active as a non-governmental organization in Roster Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
Our purpose and mission is to promote awareness of trance worldwide through a variety of important international projects. Among our projects are the development of a uniform drug policy, education and prevention of exploitation of refugees, education of youth regarding trance in order to prevent cult membership, drug abuse and at the same time promoting techniques of meditation which increases personal responsibility and power. Our vision includes the support trance research, to publish books and informational material about trance, trance abuse, mind control, conflict resolution and many other subjects. Another important activity is providing trance analysis and training trance analysts, addiction counselors, training meditation and hypnosis teachers.

We also publish the Journal of Trance Research. The Journal can be obtained by subscription which is free to colleagues, researchers, members. See www.tranceresearch.org/foundation/subscriptions.pdf for the subscription form. Complete it and mail it to us.
Membership: Membership is a vitally important part of the Trance Research Foundation. Members host workshops, organize presentations, and pot-luck discussion and meditation groups worldwide. Members are active and an integral part of the Trance Research Foundation, and some members provide local trance analysis services in their community and internationally.
