Adding to the knowledge of trance is a goal shared by both the institution of the Trance Research Foundation as well as individual members. Trance is quite individual. It is internal and to some extent, spiritual and esoteric. Sharing such knowledge is a delicate undertaking. It is made even more delicate because of the ethical considerations.

As an individual member, you are entitled to access the results of trance research and to participate in the forums. In addition, you may benefit from personalized trance analysis. Such trance analysis also includes meditation instruction and practice as well as the instruction in the ethical use of hypnosis and autohypnosis. The control of addictions is also a subject of trance analysis.

As a professional member, a member of the staff may provide you with supervision in the application of the results of trance research. In this way your clients can benefit immediately. We encourage and promote the ethical use of the application of trance.

As an institutional or corporate member you may submit trance research projects that fall within the scope of interest of the foundation. Such projects may involve commercial advertising, political, or social change goals.
Personal Trance Research

Your meditation, hypnotic and use or abuse of trance – that is, the specific practices you use personally and professionally – very likely uses techniques that we have analyzed. Sharing our experiences openly adds to the sum knowledge of trance phenomena. Of course, all such new knowledge increases the possibility of the unethical use of trance by others. We feel that knowledge itself is the cure to the unethical use of trance and that ignorance of trance hinders the development of the higher man. The Trance Research Foundation promotes the ethical use of trance.

We have consulted to a wide variety of people, including witches, prostitutes, drug dealers, politicians, pornography dealers, psychotherapists, meditators, yogis, lovers, mystics, academics, entrepreneurs, musicians and many others. They all have realized that understanding trance phenomena helps them individually, personally, politically, professionally and financially.

Trance is a vitally important, contemporary, controversial, social, political, commercial and spiritual phenomena which is more abused than used.
